Abstract
The microstructure of the alimentary canal and Malpighian tubules of Teleogryllus(Ohmachi and Matsumura)emma are observed in this paper. The alimentary canal is composed of foregut, midgut and hindgut.Six layers are found in each section. The differences of structures between the sections of the alimentary canal are related to their function. The Malpighian tubules of Teleogryllus emma consist of a single layer of big epithelium, surrounding a blind-ending lumen, which is similar to other Orthoptera insects' Malpighian tubules.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
