Abstract
Purpose To be aware of the short-term changes of pathogenic bacteria causing lower respiratory tract infection for better prevention and treatment of the infection. Methods A retrospective analysis was made of pathogenic bacteria of 500 cases of lower respiratory tract infection. Results 229 G - bacillus were found, accounting for 45.8 %;of which bacillus pyocyaneus was 18.8 %, Klebsiella pneumoniae was 9.6 %, Escherichia coli was 5 %. In addition, there were 140 G + cocci, accounting for 28 %; and 31 mold, 26.2 %. Conclusion Lower respiratory tract infection is mainly caused by G - bacillius, but G + cocci infection and mold should also be watched for.
