Abstract

Objective To study the sign of fibrobronchoscopy and the relation of the clinic charcateristics, histopathology and location in lung cancer patients diagnosed by fibronchoscopy under 25 years of age. Methods The fibrobronchoscopy data of 32 young patients with lung cancer were analyzed retrospectively. Results Of the 32 patients,84.4% had direct sign such as!neoplasm or infiltrative lesion. The most common histopathology was squamous cell carcinoma(9 cases),followed by small cell carcinoma(8 cases) and adenocarcinoma(7 cases). The lung carcinoma was more located in the right middle lobe(6 cases),followed by left main bronchus and left lower bronchus. Conclusion Fibrobrochoscopy is an important approach in the diagnosis of young lung cancer.Paying more attention to the lung cancer in young patients and examining with fibrobronchoscopy would be helpful to the early diagnosis.
