Abstract

[Objective]To establish a catalysis dynamics photometry model for determination of the micro amount of Mn in the water.[Methods]Different influencing factors were selected including temperature, time, the amount of balanced solution and the amount of periodate potassium of determining Mn(2+) and to design different levels of those influencing factors respectively in order to determine the best combination experimental criteria according to the orthogonal design model.[Results]The best combination experimental criteria were:balanced solution 3.0 ml,periodate potassium solution 1.5 ml,experimental temperature 40 ℃,time 15 min.Linear correlation coefficient was 0.998.Coefficient variation of the method precision was 11.3%,the recovery rate was between 98.2% and 103.5%.[Conclusion]Using the orthogonal design model may select the best combination experimental criteria to satisfy the need of determination of micro amount of Mn in the water.
