The Effect of Acupuncture on Behavior and Contents of AchE of Rats with Vascular Dementia

Abstract

Objective:To observe the effect of acupuncture at Baihui,Dazhui and Renzhong on metabolism of study memorizing ability and AchE in serum and hippocampus of VD rats. Methods:The model was made by common carotid artery ischemia in pairs.The rats were randomized into model group,acupuncture group and western medicine group,the rats study and memorizing ability of step down and enzyme-immunossay methods in serum,the content of hippocampus AchE were examined. Results:The acupuncture reaction period of stepping down was decreased(P0.05) compared with the model group by acupunctured at Baihui,Dazhui and Renzhong.The AchE content of hippocampus and serum of the acupunture were decreased(P0.05) compared with the model by acupuncture at Baihui,Dazhui and Renzhong. Conclusion:VD rats serum and hippocampus AchE metabolism can be improved by acupuncture Dazhui,Renzhong and Baihui.
