Abstract
The efficacies of ten insecticides were evaluated against Myzus persicae Sulzer with Capsicum chinense Jacquin in the field trial. The results showed that the 25% Imidacloprid Omethoate emulsifiable concentrate (EC), 30% Fenvalerate Fenitrothion EC, 90% Methomyl water power (WP), 1.8% Abamectin WP, 5% Imidacloprid WP, 1.8% Abamectin EC, 40% Chlorpyrifos EC, 3% Acetamiprid EC and 10% Imidacloprid WP in the trials all had a good control effect against the pest insect, with the effect lasting for more than 10 days. These insecticides can be used in turn in production.
