The Design Optimization Strategy of City Street in the Urban Space

City streets in the city as a common element, is the complex of city public space, traffic space and many social functions. This article, through the definition of characters of city streets in the urban space, analyzed the static components and dynamic components of city streets, which act as the role of public space. And it spropose some suggestions of design which focus on the visual relation of the city street and the architecture, and the creation of vitality.
