Abstract
This paper discuss a cam processing method which combines CMM, CAD/CAM system and NC machine tool based on Reverse Engineering and NC tool. The data of cam contour are taken by touched measure using Coordinate Measuring Machine. After some processing the data is transferred to Pro/ENGINEER system to create the model and machining cam with NC tool. The processed parts are inspected with digital model by Coordinate Measuring Machine and EZISIS curve surface software.
