Review on Sports Evaluation Researches in China

Evaluation is one of the most widely spread and most popular activities in human society and goes through the entire process of human activity.With the increasing of sports scale, the influence of sports activities is also increasing and the research on sports evaluation has come into the limelight.Using methods of literature review,mathematical statistics and systematic analysis,the present paper took as samples the research articles, master theses and doctorial dissertations on sports evaluations published in the core Chinese journals in sports during 1999 and 2009,briefly reviewed the history of evaluation researches and conducted the statistical analysis of the hot issues in sports evaluation researches in China.It expounded in particular on the research paradigm of sports evaluation,namely the aims, objects,procedure,theoretical basis,index system,principles, index screening and weighing in sports evaluation.The research is intended to provide reference for the construction of sports evaluation theory in terms of the standardization and scientificity.
