Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of apoptosis of tumor cells induced by the wild type p53(wt-p53) gene, human hepatocarcinoma cell line HuH-7 was transfected with wt-p53 gene in our study. Methods While human hepatocarcinoma cell line HuH-7 was transfected with wt-p53 gene by Lipofectamine, the apoptosis in the cells was evaluated by flow cytometry after the treatment for 96 hours. Results 2.8% in the untreated group,4.1% in transfected with pUHD 10-3 group,39.6% in tranfected with pUHD 10-3-p53 group. Conclusion Apoptosis in human hepatocarcinoma cell line HuH-7 could be induced by the wt-p53 gene.
