Abstract
Peroxyoxalate chemiluminescence (PO-CL) is one of the most efficient and versatile chemiluminescent systems. This paper reviews the recent developments in the peroxyoxalate chemiluminescent analysis, including the mechanisms of light emission process of the high-energy intermediates, the synthesis of new PO reagents and their analytical applications for various analytes.
