Effects of Two Chinese Medical Herbs on Immune Function in Broilers

Abstract

Effect of selective Chinese medical herbs on the immune function of broilers was studied. On 21 and 42 days age,immune organs index,T lymphocyte rate,monocytes-macrophages phagocytic index and concentration of IL-2 and IL-1β in serum of broilers were measured. Compared with control group,the Chinese medical herbs enhanced the immune function of chickens. And T lymphocyte rate and concentration of IL-2 in serum supplemented with 0.75% complex Chinese medical herbsⅠand supplemented with 0.75 % complex Chinese medical herbsⅡwere higher significantly(P0.05),but there was no difference between the two Chinese medical herbs(P0.05).
