Abstract
Objective To study the curative effect of cerebrospinal fluid(CSF) exchange for headache resulting from subarachnoid hemorrhage(SAH) by keeping catheter in lumbar puncture.Method Twenty-eight patients were divided randomly into two groups: the control group and the test group.Both groups were given routine treatment,but the test group was cured by intrathecal injection of exchange of cerebrospinal fluid for treatment additionally.Results Compared with the control group,there was obvious difference in curative effect of the two groups(P0.05),and complications of persistent headache were fewer in the test group.Conclusion Exchange of cerebrospinal fluid plus conventional treatment is more effective than conventional treatment alone in the treatment of SAH.
