Effect of acute intoxication of fenvalerate on the function of learning and memory in mice

Objective: To study effect of acute intoxication of fenvalerate on the function of learning and memory in mice,analyze its effects on the nervous system of mice. Methods: Mice were divided into learning group and memory group.The learning group(or the memory group)were divided into A(or D high-dose exposure group),B(or E middle-dose exposure group),C(or F low-dose exposure group) three fenvalerate exposure group and two control group,the fenvalerateon exposure group were poisoned one time each day three days.And the effect of acute intoxication of fenvalerate in the learning group and memory group were measured by Y-type maze test and the data were analyzed by SPSS11.5. Results: After three days′ poisoning in learning group,compared with the control group the training time was longer(P0.01),the number of training was more(P0.01),the rate of correct was lower;the memory group,compared with the control group the training time was longer(P0.01),the rate of correct was lower(P0.01). Conclusion:Fenvalerate could decrease the function of learning and memory in mice.
