Abstract

Modification of acrylic fabric before pre-mordanting is carried out at 85 with 12 g/L hydroxylamine hydrochloride and 20 g/L ammonium acetate to improve the light fastness of natural dyeings.Influences of mordant dosage, dyeing temperature and time,pH value and NaCl dosage on dyeing properties of modified acrylic are studied. The results show that Fe3+ and Cu2+ are suitable for mordant dyeing with berberine. The optimum mordant dyeing process is as follows:metal ion 3%(omf),dyeing at 95 for about 60 min under acidic or neutral condition. The color fastness of the dyeings can meet the requirements of wearing, and the light fastness increases significantly.
