Abstract
The process of a natural dye extraction and polyester fabric dyeing were studied in this article. The fastness and anti-bacterium performance of the dyed polyester fabric were tested. It was shown that the optimal extraction conditions were as following: the dosage of the plant 90 g/L,extraction temperature 80 ℃,and extraction time 60 min.the dosage of the auxiliary 25 g/L.The optimal direct dyeing condition: dyeing temperature 120 ℃,pH 5,dyeing time 45 min.The optimal mordant condition after dyeing: mordant temperature 45 ℃,mordant time 30~60 min,the dosage of the mordant 3 %(o.w.f).The dyed polyester fabric displayed good fastness and some anti-bacterium properties.
