Abstract
The present study aims at the vitro antioxidant activity of Ganoderma Lucidum polysaccharide and Schizophyllum Commune polysaccharide.Based on the superoxide anion free radical scavenging assays,the determination of reducing power,the oxidative damage to the red blood cell of the mouse and the liver mitochondrial swelling experiment on the mouse,the difference of antioxidant activities between Ganoderma Lucidum polysaccharide and Schizophyllum Commune polysaccharide was compared.The results show that both of the polysaccharides have good suppressive effects on the oxidative damage affected by superoxide anion radicals and hydroxyl free radicals.It is concluded that both of the polysaccharides have a strong antioxidant activity.
