Abstract
Objective:To treat RA with the modified Yuebi Decoction.By contrasting the research of treatment group and the control group,to estimate the curative effect and safety.Methods:40 RA patients belonged to the cold-heat complicated syndrome type were divided into two groups by random:the treatment group which contained 20 patients were treated with MTX 10 mg orally once a week and Diclofenac 75 mg orally once a day and modified Yuebi Decoction, and the control group which also contained 20 patients were treated with MTX 10 mg orally once a week and Diclofenac 75 mg once a day orally, and the period of treatment of two groups was 2 months. Results:The totally effective rate of the treatment group was 95% while the rate of the control group was 75%.There was a significant difference between the treatment group and the control group(P0.05).After treatment, the clinical and TCM symptoms of the two group patients were all significantly improved(P0.05),and the treatment group was better than the control group. The contrast result showed that laboratory index of both groups were changed after treatment(P0.05),and there was also a significant difference between the treatment group and the control group(P0.05).Conclusion:To treat the cold-heat complicated syndrome of RA,the combination treatment of modified Yuebi Decoction and western medicine can improve the clinical presentations effect better and has a better security.
