China's textile and garment export has seen an encouraging growth after China's entry into the WTO but green barriers turn out to be the big obstruction on the export and restrict its further expansion in the international market. The paper, after discussing the forms and characteristics of the green barriers, stresses the effects caused by the barriers on China's export and advances some relevant countermeasures.
