The Research on Green Trade Barriers of Textile and Garment Exports and Countermeasures——Taking Jiangsu Province as a Case

Textile and clothing industry has been China's major foreign exchange industry,but in recent years,green trade barriers focusing on environmental protection,security and sustainable development in international trade make many textile and clothing export enterprises suffer great losses.As a result,it is an urgent issue for government and enterprises to understand the impacts of the green trade barriers which the developed countries brought about to Jiangsu textile and clothing industry and take appropriate measures effectively to come up with the obstacles that green trade barriers brought to the textile and clothing industry.The paper analysizes the conception of green trade barriers as well as the impacts that green trade barriers bring to Jiangsu textile and clothing export and discusses the influence mechanism and the contributing factors,explores countermeasures to break through the green trade barriers,seeks appropriate ways to solving trade disputes probably.These are all of great practical significance to promote jiangsu textile and clothing export.
