An Empirical Study of Xinjiang's Science Input and Economic Growth Under Open Economic Conditions

Through an analysis of RD expense expenditure,the financial scientific and technological funding in Xinjiang's science input,the total number of technological staff,the number of RD staff and the technology introduction expenses,according to the statistics data of Xinjiang from 1997 to 2010,this paper carries out an empirical study and quantitative inspection of the relevance between science input,economic growth and export trade with gray relationship analysis and regression analysis method.It proves that there exists obvious relevance between the index of science input and Xinjiang;s economic growth under open economic conditions.Among them,the function of financial science funding on economic growth is most obvious and RD expense expenditure's promoting function on export trade is most obvious.At last,this paper puts forward policy suggestion on how to increasing science input in Xiangjiang to promote economic growth under open economic conditions.
