Abstract
Fern flora composition and characteristics of fern of Bayueshan–Western Springs Scenic Spot were analysed after survey. The results were as follows:① There were 166 species (including varieties) belonging to 63 genera and 37 families in the area.② Large number of single family, single genera and ancient composition indicated the ancient flora origin. The fern's differentiation of this region was relatively low.③ The dominant families and genera were obvious.④ The characteristics of distribution types of fern took on obvious tropical nature, however, owning temperate nature to some extent.⑤ The relationship of fern flora in this area was closer with Jinyun Mountain and Hongshuihe Valley than that in Jinfo Mountain.
