Abstract
The geographic components of fern flora in Baiyun Mountain of Baojing County were studied through data access combining with the line transect and quadrat surveys.The results showed that,there were 396 species of ferns belonging to 45 families,106 genera.In these ferns,the majority of families were pantropic distribution which accounted for 55.56% of the total family number,and the majority of genera were tropic distribution which accounted for 49.06% of the total genus number.Among the families,Dryopteridaceae,Athyriaceae and Polypodiaceae were the dominant family.Among the genera,Dryopteris,Polystichum and Asplenium were the common genus,which included 87 species accounting for 21.96% of the total number of species in the region.Based on the composition of genus,the fern flora in the region could be attributed to the Polystichum-Dryopteris flora.
