Abstract
Solid super acids SO 4 2- /M\-xO\-y were choosed for the first time to catalyze the synthesis of strawberriff esters and SO 4 2- /ZrO\-2-TiO\-2 was selected as the best one.The optimum conditions for preparing the catalyst were as follows:molar ratio of Ti to Zr 4∶1,regulating pH value with ammonia water to about 8-9,soaking with 0 5 mol/L sulphuric acid and baking at 550 ℃ for 3 h.The optimum conditions for using this catalyst to synthesize strawberriff esters were 3 g/mol of catalyst and 3 h of reaction time. The yield of strawberriff pentyl ester was up to 90.8%.
