Abstract
Solid super acid SO42-/TiO2 as catalyst, gallic acid and npropyl alcohol as raw materials, the propyl gallate is synthesized. The effect of molar ratio of npropyl alcohol to gallic acid, catalyst dose, calcining heat of catalyst and reaction time on the yield of ester are tested. The results showed that the activity of catalyst was the best when the the catalyst was calcinated at 500 ℃.The better reaction conditions are as follows:the molar ratio of npropyl alcohol to gallic acid is 15∶1,solid super acid SO42-/TiO2 1.8 g,the reaction at 115~120 ℃ for 2.5 h,the yield of ester reached 96.3%.
