Abstract
Objective To explore clinical significance of changes in serum levels of high-sensitive C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) and homocysteine (Hcy) in patients with coronary heart disease. Methods Hs-CRP and Hcy levels 70 cases with atherosclerosis (observation group) and 66 cases with normal coronary artery (control group) were respectively detected by the enzymatic cycling and transmission immunoturbidimetric assay. Results The mean serum level of hs-CRP in observation group was higher than that in control group, there was significant difference (P 0.05). The lesion vessel area of observation group was bigger than that of control group (P 0.05). Conclusion The detection of serum levels of hs-CRP and Hcy play an important role in disease prediction and treatment of patients with coronary heart disease.
