Abstract

The reasons for the tragedy,Biography of Yingying,has always been controversial.More discussion has been focused on social factors while ignored the characteristics of the characters themselves.This article is based on the text itself,discussing the ideology and character of the main characters in the context of the whole Chinese cultural background Through this research,the article concluded that it is not only the tragedy of the times,but also the tragedy of character.
