Abstract

This paper proves tragedy of thought in Rashomen from the life idea,the excess motivation,motivation against effect and predicament;states tragedy of artistic expression in Rashomen from the theme ,image and plot, and further explores the film's reflections on the human nature,the existing condition of people ,the society and the circumstance in order for people to understand the film's value and deep connotations.
