Abstract
In this paper, the development of field emission display(FED) technology is reviewed, followed by discussion on the structure of FED and its display mechanism.Emphasis is put mainly on the progress in recent two years in such areas as the modification of the materials,the improvement of device life-time and its structure,and the trial production of the sample devices.
