Abstract
Objective:To explore the relationship between TF and VEGF plasma levels and clinical pathologic characteristics in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients. Method: Using immunohistochemistry method, plasma levels of TF and VEGF were detected in 127 NSCLC patients, and the results with clinical pathologic characteristics were statistically analyzed. Result:NSCLC Group plasma TF and VEGF levels were significantly higher than those of lung benign tumor and control groups ( P 0. 01). There was no significant difference of patient's plasma levels of TF and VEGF in different sex, tissue type and the degree of differentiation in the NSCLC patients. In the TNM stageⅢandⅣNSCLC patients, the plasma levels of TF and VEGF were markedly higher than those of stageⅠandⅡ( P 0. 01), indicating that the plasma levels of TF and VEGF elevated as the TNM stage of the lung cancer increased. There was a linear relationship between plasma levels of TF and VEGF ( r = 0. 402, P 0. 01). Conclusion:TF and VEGF play an important role in the tumor infiltration and metastasis in the NSCLC patients. The plasma levels can be used as a reference indicator for prognosis. Further study of the interactive mechanisms of the TF and VEGF for clarifying tumor's progress and deterioration is essential, and the search for effective ways of intervention is of great significance.
