Abstract
Fructone was synthesized by ethyl acetoacetate and ethylene glycol under condition of H3PW6Mo6O40/SiO2 as catalyst. The effects of molar ratio of ethyl acetoacetate to ethylene, the catalyst dosage and reaction time on the yield of Fructone were investigated. Experimental results showed that H3PW6Mo6O40/ SiO2 is an excellent catalyst. The optimum conditions are: molar ratio of ethyl acetoacetate to ethylene glycol is 1:1.4, the dosage of catalyst is 0.8% based on feed stocks, cyclohexane as carrying-water reagent, and the reaction time is 45 min, the yield of product can reach 63.3 %.
