Abstract
The volatile oil from the fruit of Liquidambar formosans and L.acalycina are analyzed by GC-MS method.35 compounds are separated and 29 compounds are identified in the volatile constituents from L.formosans.The main constituents are β-pinene,1S-α-pinene and caryophyllene,16.69%,15.22% and 12.54% respectively.47 compounds are separated and 33 compounds were identified from L.acalycina.The main constituents are β-pinene,1R-α-pinene and caryophyllene,22.10%,21.93% and 11.41% respectively.The study provides scientific basis to enlarge application of L.formosans resources and its identification.
