Abstract
This paper takes an exhaust muffler for example and uses GT-POEWR designed by GTI. INC to analyze the performance of the exhaust muffler. At the beginning, the tested frequency can not come up to the standard and transmission loss of the muffler is got. by GT-POWER. According to the frequency which does not come up to the standard and transmission loss of the muffler, the muffler structure is modified. By the test, muffler acoustic effect is testified to be up to the standard.
