Abstract
Objective To evaluate the safety and effect dividing nuclear with capsulorhexis forceps in phacoemulsification.Methods It was used in phacoemulsification for dividing nuclear with capsulorhexis forceps.The cataract in 25 eyes were senile.Results The visual acuity of 13 eyes(52%) was over 0.5 at 3 days,There were corneal edema in 6 eyes and posterior capsular rupture in 1 eye.Conclusions Dividing nuclear with capsulorhexis forceps make nucleurs easier to be divided into four segments and operating time to be shorten.It makes phacoemulsification more safe and dffective.
