Abstract

Objective To evaluate clinical value of skin prick test(SPT)in chronic urticaria.Methods Skin prick test was performed by using 20 different allergens,normal saline was negative control,histamine was positive control.Results Ih 292 patients with chronic urticaria,the total positive reaction reach at 71.92%.The positive reaction rate of the dermatophagoides farinae(63.69%)was the highest amomg the allergens.Conclusion The skin prick test is highly distinctive,it can help patients with chronic urticaria to find out the possible causes of their diseases,instruct them to avoid pathogenic allergen to the best of their ability in their daily life.
