Abstract
Objective:To investigate the role of the changes of the expression of the level of IFN-γ,IL-2 in serum of patients with different course of condyloma acuminata(CA)in the immune pathogenesis of CA.Methods:solid sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunoadsorbent assay(ELISA)were performed for detecting the level of IFN-γ,IL-2 in serum of 60 cases with different course of CA.Results:The level of IFN-γ,IL-2 in serum of the group of CA is significantly lower than that of the group of normal control(P0.01),and the level of IFN-γ,IL-2 in serum of the group of long course of CA is significantly lower than that of the group of short course(P0.01).Conclusion:Patients with CA were characterized by the suppressed secretion of the TH1-associated cytokines(eg:IFN-γ,IL-2),this might play an important role in the immune pathogenesis of CA.
