A Comparative Study on Offensive and Defense Abilities of Chinese Men's Basketball Team and Its Rivals in the Last Two Olympic Games

The paper conducts a comparative analysis on the statistics data of games between Chinese Men' s Basketball Team and its rivals in the 28th and 29th Olympic Games by methods of literature,observation and comparative analysis. The results indicate that Chinese Team has got apparent progress recently.The distance of offensive and defense between Chinese Team and its rivals is shortening steadily.But there are some questions from the last two Olympic Games:the alternate rhythm of attacking and defense is slow,the score ability of fast breaking and assists is short,turnover is more, overall attack ability is inadequate;defense is short of coordination,changing position is not timely,the lost score of inside is more than rivals,steal is short of the contrast groups apparently,and Chinese Team do not adapt the intensive combat.
