Abstract
Objective:To assess the influence of active nursing intervention on life depression and the quality of life in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases(COPD).Methods: A total of 65 COPD patients in stable period were divided into active nursing intervention group(33 cases)and control group(32 cases) randomly.Follow up all patients for one year. The patients were assessed the state of depression by self-rating depression scale(SDS) and for the quality of life by the short from-36(SF-36).Results:After active nursing intervention, the score of SDS in active nursing intervention group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P0.05).The active nursing intervention group's score of SF-36 was significantly higher than that in the control group(P0.05).The score of SDS was negatively correlated with SF-36(r=-0.505,P0.05).Conclusion:There is COPD patients in stable period with depression and obvious decrease with quality of life.Active nursing intervention could relieve depression status and improve quality of life in elderly patients with COPD.
