Abstract

A method for the determination of Cd, Co, Cu, Mn, Pd, Zn and Ni in pyrite is reported in this paper. The samples are decomposed with HClHNO3 and directly analyzed by ICPAES. The interference from Fe in the samples is eliminated using interference correction factor method. The method has been applied to the determination of these elements in geological standard reference samples. The results are in agreement with certified values with precision of 1.5%~7.3% RSD (n=8). 
