Abstract
Inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry(ICP-AES) was used to determine the Co,Cu,Ni,Pb,Zn and Ba content in manganese ores. The spectral interference on some trace elements was eliminated by interference factor correction. The proposed method was applied to the determination of national reference manganese materials, and the results were in good agreement with the certified values. The relative standard deviation was 0.3% to 2.5%.The relative standard deviation of the six determinant elements in two manganese ores samples was 0.95% to 4.31%.Recoveries of Co and Pb were in the range of 97.5% to 103%.The result indicated that the method has advantages such as high precision and accuracy,as well as fast analysis and simple operation, and could meet the analytical requirements of manganese ores.
