Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of different nursing methods for gastrointestinal function recovery of patients undergoing abdominal surgery. Methods One hundred patients with abdominal surgery in our hospital from January 2011 to December2012 were selected as the research objects in this study and divided into control group and research group randomly, with 50 cases in each group. Fifty cases of control group received routine nursing, while fifty cases of research group received early activities and abdominal thermal massage on the basis of routine nursing. The gastrointestinal function recovery situations of two groups were observed and compared. Results The postoperative anal defecation and exhaust time, and recovery time of bowel sound of research group were lower than those of control group, and the differences between two groups were statistically significant(all P 0.05). Conclusions For patients with abdominal surgery, early activities, abdominal thermal massage, and sticking points after surgery can effectively promote the recovery of gastrointestinal function, shorten patients' anal defecation and exhaust time, and shorten the recovery time of bowel sound, which is worthy of clinical application.
