Abstract

In order to develop new nitrogen oxide removing technolgies, stability chlorine dioxide gas was used as nitrogen oxide absorption solution, countercurrent gasliquid absorption operation was performed in packed bed and effects of different factors on the removal rate of nitrogen oxides were investigated by naphthyl ethylenediamine hydrochloride spectrophotometry. The results show that when the filler was higher than 20 cm,the mass concentration of chlorine dioxide was 0.6 g/L,pH was 3.47 and the mass concentration of nitrogen oxides was 0.188 g/L,the removal rate of nitrogen oxides can reach 90 % and above.Range analysis show that the removal rate of nitrogen oxides would be decreased from 94.05 % to 87.66 % when the mass concentration of chlorine dioxide was reduced from 1.0 g/L to 0.2 g/L.However,the pH and the height of the filler also have influence on treating effect, which were less important than the mass concentration of chlorine dioxide. The products of absorption were mainly HCl and HNO_3,which were easy to recycle.
