Abstract

Objective: Discussing on therapeutic effects of internal fixature with ventilator treatment which treat flail chest and respiratory insufficiency by trauma. Methods: look back and analyse 42 cases of the treat effects of treat flail chest and ventilator treatment by trauma. Results: Contrast and analyze clinic treatment effects indexes between the operation group and non-operation group. These indexes include breath rate per 24 hours, heart rate, arterial blood and gas analysis target, the usage time of breath machine, the time of ICU, the days of clinic therapy, which show the remarkable difference between two groups. Conclusions: The treatment of Internal fixation with ventilator treatment is better than the treatment of external fixation with ventilator treatment on treating treat flail chest and respiratory insufficiency by trauma.
