Abstract
It is elaborated that,the law education occupied the pivotal status in the process of modernization of legal institution in the late Qing Dynasty.It effectively advanced the cultivation of specialized talent of law and the modernization of legal institution.It is also pointed out that,investigating the society alteration progress of modern China,the effect of law education in the late Qing Dynasty has double effects on the modernization of legal institution of modern China,which is accelerating and hindering.
