Abstract

A study was carried out on explant sterization and browning of walnut explants in vitro propagation. The explants were collected from stems of Jinboxiang. The results showed that the best explant A sterization was 4 min treatments of 0.075% HgCl2 and the best explant B sterization was 4 min treatments of 0.1% HgCl2.Browning could be effecfive controled by using dark culture in prophrase, shorting shift time(took 10 d as a cycle) and adding activated carbon with 2.0 g·L-1.
