Abstract

The flue-cured tobacco pot experiment of applying Se in soil showed that applying Se in soil had a remarkable effect on the content of single sugar, total sugar, nicotine, protein P and K in flue cured tobacco leaves. The ratio of total sugar content to protein and that of total sugar content to nicotine and that of total N content to nicotine show that the quality of flue-cured tobacco leaves is the best under the circumstance of 5.0mg·kg -1 soil.
