Abstract
The paper presents a new idea and a method for ship technical and economic demonstration based on ship’s yearly Load Rate when its actual draft changes with the route water depth, and the research and discussion on the method of ship demonstration on are also carried out. Through an example of designing a standard type oil tank navigating in Chuan Jiang River area, it is proved that a ship designed with the method will make the ship’s technical and economic properties be more better than that designed with traditional ideas and methods.
