Abstract
[Objective]To investigate the method and effect of the treatment for anterior ethmoid nerve syndrome by the limitative endoscopic submucosal resection of nasal septum. [Methods]For 42 cases of anterior ethmoidal nerve syndrome, the limitative submucous resection of nasal septum was used, and effect was observed. [Results]36 (85.7% ) of 42 patients were cured, 6 cases (14.3% ) improved, efficiency was 100% . Adhesion of the middle turbinate and nasal septum occurred in 3 cases. No other surgical complication. Smooth postoperative olfactory cleft, middle turbinate morphology were normal, partial formation of a scar, nasal septum to restore the ideal position. [Conclusion]Limitative endoscopic submucosal resection of nasal septum, treatment of ethmoidal nerve syndromewas is of a good efficacy, minimally invasive, rapid postoperative recovery.
