Abstract
This paper discusses the requirements for the qualities of subject librarians,and in view of the current situation of subject librarians of university library,analyzes the necessity of conducting the further education for subject librarians,and puts forward the contents and methods of conducting the further education for subject librarians and the measures for strengthening he further education for subject librarians.
