Efficacy of the Combination Therapy of Puerarin and Huangqi Injection on Chronic Heart Failure

Abstract

Objective This study is to evaluate the efficacy of the combination therapy of puerarin and huangqi injection on chronic heart failure.Methods 64 of clinically diagnosed patients of chronic heart failure were selected for this study.They were randomly divided into two groups:control group with regular treatment,treatment group with regular treatment plus puerarin and huangqi injection.Results The patients' conditions of the two groups were significantly improved,the efficiency rates of the control group and treatment group were 71.4% and 88.9%,respectively.The treatment group showed a significantly difference compared with control group (P0.05).Conclusion The observed effect of the combination therapy puerarin and huangqi injection suggests that it can be effectively used for the treatment and prognosis of chronic heart failure.
